Batson Hospital for Children at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. This is the only hospital in Mississippi where any child can be treated, regardless of ability to pay. Only 3,000 tickets will be sold for $25 each and the winner will be announced at the Zippity Doo Dah® Parade on Saturday, March 24th. The earlier you enter the more chances you have to win. Beginning the week of February 20th, all entries received will be placed in the barrel and the first Key Finalist will be drawn. Six Key Finalists in all will be drawn, the last one the day of the parade. During the street dance following the parade, all the Key Finalists will gather to see which lucky key will unlock the brand new 2012 Patty Peck Honda Civic Coupe!

The Patty Peck Honda Doo Dah Day Blue Car Giveaway is just one exciting part of the Second Annual the Zippity Doo Dah® Parade and Festival Weekend in Fondren. Festivities start on Thursday, March 22 with a special Arts, Eats and Beats in the Fondren neighborhood. Fun activities and special deals by local businesses will continue through Sunday. There will be lots of fun for the kids on Saturday at the Sal & Mookie’s Kids Carnival on the green space in front of Veterans Memorial Stadium and the Batson Children’s Hospital Jump Zone on the green space next to Duling School. The Zippity Doo Dah® Parade will roll at dusk through the Fondren neighborhood and everyone is invited. A street dance in front of Duling School will follow the parade and that is when the Patty Peck Honda blue car winner will be announced. So COME EARLY and STAY LATE!
Blair E. Batson is the only hospital in the state devoted exclusively to the care and treatment of sick and injured youngsters. More than 150,000 children from all of the state’s 82 counties and surrounding areas come to Children’s Hospital each year.
