Patty Peck Honda is so excited to be a sponsor of Mississippi Children’s Museums talent search, “Lights, Camera, Imagination”. Children can visit the museum on April 27  from 5:30 to 8 pm and audition to be the next star of the Mississippi Children’s Museum’s print, radio and television advertising plus play after-hours on all the wonderful exhibits in the museum.

Children ages 3 to 12 can audition for the chance to be featured in Mississippi Children’s Museum’s advertisements, and one grand prize winner will be featured on MCM’s next billboard and receive a grand prize package. All winners will receive a gift certificate to Popfizz Children’s Boutique. Local celebrity news anchors from 16 WAPT will judge the contest.

There is a $10 admission fee, and all children wanting to audition must be registered through MCM’s website. Special art activities will be set up around the museum to bring out the creative genius in all children participating in the event. The money raised for the event will support the MCM’s annual fund and help keep cultural arts programs, like Visiting Artist Workshop, operating for children to learn and experience the creative arts through hands-on activities.

Lights, Camera, Imagination Registration

Lights, Camera, Imagination is sponsored by 16 WAPT, Patty Peck Honda, Jackson Free Press and Southern Farm Bureau Life Insurance Company. There will be representatives from the University of Mississippi Medical Center’s Batson Children’s Hospital and Kohl’s Cares will be at the museum on April 27 administering helmet and car-seat safety checks to all participants of MCM’s Lights, Camera, Imagination.
