The 2014 Honda Civic has just raised the bar with the new HondaLink Next Generation.  2014 Civic Sedan and Coupe EX, EX-L and Si models offer a new Display Audio system with a 7-inch touchscreen with simple smart phone functionality. You’ll be able to pinch, squeeze, swipe and slide through audio and information screens. Watch the video below, Ted Buck, a Patty Peck Honda Certified Sale Consultant, will give you a quick glance at some of the new HondaLink features. “The 7-inch color touch screen is a piece of cake to use, thanks to four touch-sensitive buttons on the left side: Home, Volume, Menu, and Back. Even better, the buttons disappear whenever the option isn’t available, allowing your eyes to stay on the road instead of deciphering unnecessary clutter on the screen.” Motor Trend”

iPhone 5 users can take full advantage of the new HondaLink Next Generation connectivity features and even run an optional 3D Navigation app through their iPhone on the Civic’s display audio system. The advantage of the new HondaLink app navigation is that it will always be with you and up-to-date. This app is available through the app store for $59.99.

iPhone 5 owners will be happy to know that Siri is integrated right into the Civic when the drivers phone is connected by using the talk button on the steering wheel. Enjoy begin able to ask Siri to play songs, read incoming texts and emails, set up calendar entries, create reminders, send emails and texts, check weather, get ports information, read notifications, find nearby restaurants and places of interest, set up alarms, create notes and more.

Android phone users…Honda has something in the works for you later this year.
