The 2012 Civic Coupe was truly was perfect fit for me and my needs. First of all, I love the fact that this cute, black, sleek car gets great gas mileage. It gets 34 MPG and has an ECON assist button. I can just put it on ECON and it gives me quick and easy way to drive in the most frugal manner possible. The Civic engine goes into super-efficient mode to maximize my fuel efficiency. I can even keep an eye on the blue and green bars on either side of the speedometer. It’s the Honda Eco Assist feature and if I keep it in the green, my fuel will go farther. How cool is that?!

I really liked the interior of the 2012 Honda Civic Coupe EX. The seats were very comfortable and the dashboard features were something not only I personally enjoyed, but my passengers commented on and had positive things to say, as well. The brilliant, bright features on the dashboard screens were clear to read and helpful in my drive. The intelligent Multi-Information Display (i-MID) shows me fuel economy, trip meter and other data. I can even add my own wallpaper and customize it!

The steering wheel-mounted controls made it easy for me to change what I wanted to see on the screen without taking my hands off the wheel. The Bluetooth® feature was also helpful when it came to keep my hands on the wheel. It was so convenient to receive and make calls without the worry of trying to drive and hold the phone to my ear. In addition, the USB Audio Interface let me listen to my favorite songs on my iPod. Like I said, I’m one lucky girl to have driven the 2012 Honda Civic Coupe EX from Patty Peck Honda!

2012 Honda Accord Coupe EX-L

As Patty Peck Honda’s Social Media Manager, I help manage Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, the blog site and more for this Jackson area Honda dealership. This week I was given an opportunity that I was very excited about — to test drive a 2012 Honda Accord Couple EX-L for one week. And I must say…Wow! This was opportunity that I was loving every minute of. This coupe was, hands-down, the best car I’ve ever driven. The second I put my hands behind the wheel, I realized it was undoubtedly the smoothest ride I’ve ever experienced and that it wasn’t going to be easy going back to my old vehicle.

Where  I live, some of the streets have a few bumps here and there. While cruising in the 2012 Honda Accord Coupe, it was as if I was driving on the flattest streets in town. Not only was it smooth, it accelerated quickly which was great for merging onto the Interstate. This 4-cyliner, 5 speed automatic vehicle also gets GREAT gas mileage. My personal vehicle is an SUV, and I was absolutely loving this new idea: saving money on gasoline! This fuel-efficient Accord Coupe gets 33 highway MPG. I enjoy spending my money on shopping and other things, so keeping the gas station trips to a minimum was definitely a breath of fresh air. I was already feeling spoiled!

One of my favorite parts of driving the 2012 Accord Coupe EX-L was the interior and technology features. The interior had soft, tan leather seats and the other parts were black, giving it an even more sleek look. You never know what the weather is going to be like in January in Mississippi, and luckily the temperatures were in the upper 60s most days; I was able to use the sunroof some which was great. But probably my favorite part about this vehicle was the XM radio, Bluetooth® and USB Audio Interface. My 2004 SUV doesn’t have any of this so I took full advantage of it! I was able to hook up my iPod to the USB port or switch to XM radio if I wanted something a little different. The Bluetooth® was a blessing, as well. I didn’t have to worry about driving with only one hand; I felt safe and at ease using the Bluetooth® feature.

In regards to safety, Honda is known for providing safety in each and every vehicle, so I knew I was in good hands. The brakes were amazing; the standard 4-wheel anti-lock disc brakes help the driver maintain control during hard braking. The 2012 Accord features crashworthy in-floor frame rails and front and side air bags to help reduce the likelihood of injuries in a collision.

Patty Peck Honda wants to help raise money for Mississippi’s only children’s hospital, and joined in the fundraising efforts to raffle off a new Honda Insight at this family-friendly event. The World Famous Sweet Potato Queens® were great to work with, as well!

Last April, Patty Peck Honda donated a new 2011 Honda Civic to the Diabetes Foundation of Mississippi. This raffle called “Car for a Cure” accepted donations and one lucky winner won a new Civic, courtesy of Patty Peck Honda. Car for a Cure helps save lives in Mississippi and Patty Peck Honda was exceptionally generous to donate such a large prize.

Christmas is the time of year for giving, and Patty Peck Honda gave away a big present! The Junior League of Jackson hosted the 31st Mistletoe Marketplace “Simply Sparkling” event, and Patty Peck Honda sponsored the 2012 Honda Accord Sedan Raffle. The Accord raffle tickets were just $20 each and supported over 30 community projects such as Blair E. Batson and the Mississippi Children’s Museum.  They were pleased to be a part of this incredible annual community event and hope the money raised is continuing to change lives.

Patty Peck Honda gave another gift during the holidays; they were proud sponsor of Parents & Kids Magazine Christmas Fest, a gift from Patty Peck Honda. This family-friendly event welcomed families to walk around outdoors, see bright lights, hear some music and enjoy being together. Parents & Kids Magazine and Patty Peck Honda had the same vision: to create a Christmas experience. This gift to the community was simply about enjoying the Christmas spirit and spending quality time with family and friends.

The Mississippi Braves and Patty Peck Honda are big supporters of one another. In August 2011, the Mississippi Braves gave away a 2010 Patty Peck Honda Fit to a lucky MBraves fan. All fans that attended a 2011 MBraves game were able to fill out a form for a chance to win the Honda Fit; we hope the winner is enjoying her new Honda! September is Sickle Cell Awareness Month and last September, the foundation hosted their 5th Annual Sickle Cell Awareness Walk.
