Accord drivers can now switch effortlessly between Econ, Normal, and Sport modes (Sport mode is only included on hybrid models) that have pre-set steering assist and cruise control settings. Hybrid models also include an Individual Mode that allows Honda owners to customize their driving preferences even further.
Design
When it comes to this model’s design, Honda has sleek styling in mind for the new Accord, now equipped with an increased overall length of 2.8 inches. With a powerful front end and upright grille, the Accord’s long, minimalistic body lines accentuate its black-out LED headlights and taillights, and its flowing silhouette. The Accord’s LX, EX, and EX-L trims sport black mesh on the grille and 17-inch alloy wheels. The Sport and Sport-L trims have athletic black side mirrors and rear spoilers, as well as black 19-inch alloy wheels. Additionally, with stylish and sporty interior options like Piano Black trim, body stabilizing seats, and available leather seating, Honda shoppers will have a hard time resisting hopping into this new model.
Technology
The 2023 Honda Accord has Honda drivers feeling at home with a 10.2-inch instrument panel, Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ compatibility, available Qi-compatible 15W wireless phone charging, built-in Google capability, Honda Sensing® technology, and a 12-speaker Bose Premium sound system. What’s more: with functionality enhancing, updated Over the Air (OTA) software for the vehicle’s computer modules, the Accord runs smoother than ever.
Safety
Honda made sure to update the new Accord to meet the highest standards of Advanced Compatibility Engineering™ (ACE™) body structuring, giving the sedan more protection in frontal collisions. They even went a step further and upgraded the Accord’s Blind spot information (BSI) radar range, added the first-ever Traffic Jam Assist (TJA) for the Accord, and enhanced Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) with Low-Speed Follow and Lane Keeping Assist (LKAS) to feel more natural. And, for the first time ever, the Accord now has standard knee rear-passenger side impact airbags.
