With your purchase of a new Honda vehicle, Patty Peck Premium Pre-Owned, or Patty Peck Premium CertifyPLUS Pre-Owned vehicle, you’ll get our exclusive Lifetime Powertrain Warranty. This Powertrain Warranty mirrors the factory powertrain warranty with the exception that you will be covered for as long as you own the vehicle. What’s more, our Lifetime Powertrain Warranty has no mileage limit. When we say lifetime, we mean lifetime. Review what’s included in our lifetime warranty below.
Lifetime Coverage and Benefits
- Gasoline Engine All internally lubricated parts including: crankshaft, rod and main bearings; camshaft; cam bearings; connecting rods; wrist pins; pistons; piston rings; valves and valve guides; valve retainers; hydraulic or solid lash adjusters; rocker arms; push rods, cam followers, timing chains and gears,
balance shafts and bearings; oil pump assembly; timing belt and tensioner; timing chain cover; valve cover; water pump; fuel pump; harmonic balancer and expansion plugs; engine mounts; bypass valves; blow-off valves; all internal parts within the supercharger/turbocharger housing; intercooler: waste gate; waste gate actuator; supercharger drive pulley; exhaust manifold; intake manifold and seals & gaskets for the preceding Covered Components. The engine block, rotor housing, cylinder heads, and oil pan are covered only if damaged by the failure of an internally lubricated part. - Transmission/Transfer Case) All internally lubricated parts contained within the transmission or transfer case including: front pump; torque converter; metal cooler lines; governor; main shaft; bands; drums; gear sets; bearings, bushings; flywheel/flexplate; transmission cooler; transmission oil pan; synchronizers, transfer case chain and gears, vacuum modulator valve; transmission control unit: transmission mount; throttle valve cable and seals & gaskets for the preceding Covered Components. The transmission/transfer case housing is covered only if damaged by the failure of an internally
lubricated part. - Drive Axle (Front & Rear) All internally lubricated parts contained within the drive axle housing; axle shafts; axle bearings; hub bearings;
front locking assemblies; constant velocity joints; drive shafts; drive shaft bearings: universal joints; differential cover; four wheel drive actuator and seals & gaskets
for the preceding Covered Components. The drive axle housing is covered only if damaged by the failure of an internally lubricated part. - Hybrid Vehicle Coverage The hybrid vehicle motor assembly and all internally lubricated parts. The electronic transmission; electronic transmission control unit; and all internally lubricated parts contained within the transmission or transfer case. The electronic transaxle assembly and all internally lubricated parts contained within the drive axle housing.

- What is a powertrain warranty? Here’s a quick rundown, the powertrain warranty covers all of your vehicle’s parts and components designed to provide power to the wheels. This includes engine parts, the driveshaft, and transmission. The warranty covers the replacement or repair of these parts and components and any mechanical repairs. When shopping for a new car, you should always make sure to review the powertrain warranty offered, as it can cover some of the most common and costly repairs.
- Which vehicles come with the Lifetime Warranty? The warranty applies to all new Honda vehicles. It also applies to all Premium Pre-Owned or Patty Peck Premium CertifyPLUS Pre-Owned vehicles sold by Patty Peck Honda. These cars go through and have passed our 150-point inspection.
- What Maintenance Will I Need to Do? No extra maintenance is required. Follow the scheduled maintenance as recommended by the vehicle’s owner’s manual.
- Where am I covered by the Lifetime Warranty? The Lifetime Warranty applies anywhere in the United States and Canada.
- Do I have to Service with Patty Peck Honda? No, you don’t! Our award-winning Service Center will certainly exceed your expectations and maintain your records electronically. However, you are not required to have your service done at our dealership. To maintain the warranty program, you must provide copies of your service records if warranty service work is to be done elsewhere.
- Is the Lifetime Warranty transferable if I sell the vehicle? No. The Lifetime Warranty stays with you as long as you own the vehicle.
- Who is the administrator of the Lifetime Powertrain Warranty? Wise F&I Insured by Old Republic Insurance. They hold an A+ (Superior) Rating from A.M. Best with over $25 billion in assets.
