Support the Mississippi Walk for Diabetes

Walk for DiabetesPatty Peck Honda is sponsoring the Mississippi Walk for Diabetes this Sunday, October 3 in Jackson. We want you to join us in efforts to help raise awareness for diabetes. By supporting this event, we are encouraging Mississippians to help educate and advocate this chronic disease.

Over 3,000 walkers laced up their shoes last year to walk for Mississippi’s No. 1 health problem. Walkers come together each year to join friends, family members, co-workers and pets to walk for a healthier Mississippi at the Walk for Diabetes, held in various locations around the state.

The annual Walk for Diabetes draws in hundreds of participants, and we want you to be apart of it. Participants not only come to show their support to the 346,500 Mississippians with diabetes, but also for their loved ones fighting the disease.

Walk with the Diabetes Foundation of Mississippi and others from around the state in honor or in memory of a loved one with diabetes, and help raise awareness about this disease. Walks will also take place in Meridian, McComb, Columbus, Hattiesburg and Oxford. Call 1-877-DFM-CURE to find a walk site near you.
