How To Set the Clock on your Honda CR-V

March 3rd, 2012 by

There are only a few occasions when you need to change the clock in your Honda, it is easy to forget the process. I put together a short video to show just how easy it is.

If you have a different Honda, you may still find this information useful. The process should be the same, just  look for the word “Clock” and the letters H, M, R and the steps will be the same.

In the video I demonstrate how to set the clock on a 2010 Honda CR-V EX-L without navigation. You will also find this information in the 2010 Honda CR-V owners manual.

Change the clock settings on your Honda CR-V

  • Start the engine
  • Press and hold the CLOCK button until you hear a beep. The current displayed time should begin to blink.
  • Now you can change the hours by pressing the H (hour) button until the numbers advance to your desired time, change the minutes by pressing the M (minute) button.
  • Press the CLOCK button again and your time is set.

Quickly set the time to the nearest hour. If the displayed time is before the half hour, press and hold the CLOCK button, then press the R (reset) button to set the time back to the previous hour. If the displayed time is after the half hour, the same procedure sets the time forward to the beginning of the next hour.

Does your Honda CR-V have the optional navigation system it receives signals from the global positioning system (GPS), and the displayed time is updated automatically by the GPS. Refer to the navigation system manual for how to adjust the time.
