The All New 2012 Civic EX-L
The 2012 Honda Civic EX-L Sedan has a significant upgrade that you’ll be excited to learn more about. This ninth generation Civic is now advanced and redesigned like never before. It’s new body style and technology has given the public another reason to the love the Civic. It has come a long way in the past year.
The i-MID, or Intelligent Multi-Information Display, is a new and exciting feature of the Civic EX-L. It sits front and center of the driver’s dashboard panel for easy reading. The new i-MID is your go-to for every important bit of driving-related information. See current song playing, current mpg-and even turn-by-turn directions for the available navigation system. The display gives the car a wrap-around feel and makes you feel like you’re in complete control of the vehicle. Control the information display right at your fingertips on the steering wheel. Not only is the i-MID helpful and customizable, it’s appealing, thanks to its high-resolution color that gives it a crisp look.
The EX-L has an impressive Honda Satellite-Linked Navigation System™ with Voice Recognition. It’s simple, quick and easy for all users. There are many ways to find the place you want to drive to. For example, you can plug in the phone number or address or even look it up by category. This system gives you turn by turn directions not only on the navigation screen, but also on the multi-information display. It maps the directions out for you so you’re sure to never to miss a turn.
Another excellent feature is Bluetooth®. We all know using a cellular device while driving is dangerous–if you’re still holding the phone with one hand and holding the wheel with another, it’s time to upgrade to the hands-free option. You’ll love accepting calls and dialing out while using Bluetooth®.
We didn’t think this was possible, but the new Civic EX-L has improved fuel economy. It gets 39 to 46 mpg on the highway! These ratings are based on the normal operating mode–there’s an additional economy mode. Just push the “econ” button and and it will re-map your shifting. It allows the vehicle to shift to the higher gears quicker, maintaining lower RPMs. It also changes how many times the A/C compressor cycles and smooths out the throttle response. This results in better fuel economy all with the push of a button.
A top priority in the Civic redesign was refinement—quiet operation, smooth ride quality and a spacious, comfortable interior. This vehicle is fully equipped: moon-roof, leather interior, navigation system, Bluetooth®, multi-information display, great fuel economy, safe, reliable, comfortable, all with a sleek appearance… The 2012 Civic EX-L is a must have!
