Looking at all of the exciting technology features offered on new Honda vehicles, you may have asked: “What is HondaLink®?” HondaLink® is a smart connectivity suite that allows you to access your favorite smartphone apps from inside your Honda car, truck, or SUV. Whether you want to check your phonebook, place a hands-free call, or stream your favorite tune, you can do so conveniently through the infotainment system screen. HondaLink® is an app-based suite, so you can also purchase additional services to further enhance your Brandon-area driving experience. Advanced Technology to Keep You Connected

There are five different feature sets available with HondaLink®: Basic, Link, Security, Remote, and Concierge. HondaLink® Basic, which is standard on most new Honda models, includes access to a digital owner’s manual, recall alerts, service scheduling, parking reminders, and roadside assistance. The Link, Security, Remote, and Concierge feature sets offer more HondaLink® features and services that allow you to:

• Check mileage, fuel range, and oil life
• Receive service reminders, security alerts, and speed alerts
• Send destinations to your navigation system
• Request enhanced roadside assistance
• Remotely access your car with the Honda Remote Start app
• Use a live assistant to make reservations

How Do I Connect to HondaLink®?

Jackson drivers will find that connecting to HondaLink® is simple and easy. Just follow these steps:

• Download and open the app for your Apple or Android smartphone.
• Enter your Vehicle Identification Number. If you don’t have it, check on the driver-side door jamb.
• Create a new account, or enter an existing Honda ID to skip this step.
• Follow the steps to sync your phone and vehicle with Bluetooth®.
• Select the HondaLink® icon on the home screen of your car’s infotainment display.
• You’re ready to use HondaLink®!

How to Use the Honda Remote Start App

One of the many convenient HondaLink® features is Honda Remote Start. Once you have registered and enrolled in HondaLink®, you will be able to access the Honda Remote Start app which is part of the Remote subscription package. Honda Remote start allows you to start your vehicle anywhere there is a cell signal. Here’s how the Honda Remote Start app works:

• Before you use Honda Remote Start, make sure that you know the location of your vehicle and that it is parked outside in a well-ventilated area.
• Then, with the Honda Remote Start app open on your phone, touch Remote Commands, and then Start. Your vehicle will start and remain on for 10 minutes.
• You can turn the vehicle off or extend it by an additional 10 minutes by selecting Stop or Extend.
