Who is eligible?[2]
- Active Duty U.S. Military (Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, National Guard, Coast Guard & Active Reserve) and their spouses.
- Active Duty U.S. Military Ready Reserve (Inactive National Guard, Individual Ready Reserve, Selected Reserve) and their spouses.
- U.S. Military Veterans who are within 2 years of separation from active service and their spouses. (Veteran: A service member who was discharged or released from service under conditions other than dishonorable).
- U.S. Military Retirees (Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, National Guard, Coast Guard & Active Reserve). Military Retiree: Service members who remain on active duty or serve in the Reserves or Guard for a sufficient period of time (usually a minimum of 20 years)
- Spouses of U.S. Military Retirees (Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, National Guard, Coast Guard & Active Reserve) who are within 2 years of separation from active service.
- Members of Gold Star families (Widow, Parents, Next of Kin) of members of the U.S. Armed Forces who have been killed in combat or in support of certain military activities.
What you need[3]
- Active Duty U.S. Military and Ready Reserve – Copy of Military Leave and Earnings Statement (LES) or Defense Finance and Accounting (DFAS) confirmation form.
- U.S. Military Veterans – Copy of DFAS RAS confirmation form, Report of Separation (DD Form 214, Certificate of Release or Discharge from Active Duty).
- U.S. Military Retirees – Copy of DFAS Retiree Account Statement, (RAS), Report of Separation (DD Form 214, Certificate of Release or Discharge from Active Duty)
- U.S. Military Spouse – Must provide proof of relationship and provide a copy of spouses’ requirements for Military status.
- Members of Gold Star families – Copy of DD Form 1300, DD Form 3, or other official military service documentation supporting Gold Star Status.
- Must meet HFS credit criteria & sign an HFS retail finance or Honda Leadership Leasing contract.
The Honda Military Appreciation Offer is limited to the 48 U.S. contiguous states, Alaska and Hawaii. (1) For well-qualified customers who meet the Military Appreciation Offer criteria listed above, subject to approval by Honda Financial Services (HFS). Bonus offer applies toward any new 2020 or newer model year Honda that are eligible for new vehicle rates when financed or leased through HFS. Vehicle must be new, unregistered, and not previously reported sold. Only offered at participating dealerships. One $500 Military Appreciation Offer per vehicle. LEASE: $500 applied toward the cap cost of vehicle. Monthly payment and total due at lease signing are calculated after $500 reduction. Cannot be combined with Zero Due at Signing Lease program. PURCHASE: $500 applied toward down payment. (2) During the term of a retail installment finance contract or lease with HFS, the Buyers may not take their vehicle outside of the United States without the prior written consent of HFS. During the term of the retail installment finance contract or lease, Buyers must notify HFS immediately of any change in Buyer’s address. Offer valid through March 31, 2022, unless terminated earlier by HFS.
