Patty Peck Honda seeks trained professional automotive technicians with at least three years of experience. Technicians’ duties include all things relating to the mechanical repair of vehicles. Starting pay is between $20 – $30 per hour, flat-rate commission pays with a guarantee for the first 30 days, and a sign-on bonus over 90 days.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Receive repair orders and take them to the stall area as directed by the dispatcher.
Perform correct diagnosis of any malfunctions and repair them as authorized by the customer.
Label and set aside parts under warranty or as requested by the customer and turn them in after service.
Maintain adequate documentation of work performed.
Obtain all necessary parts from the Parts Department.
Stay up-to-date on all factory technical bulletins.
Know all local, federal, state, and other automotive service and repair work regulations and follow them with exactness.
Following all dealership and manufacturer standards, perform work listed on the work order efficiently and accurately.
Make use of quality checks for all work performed.
When time schedules change for work you’re doing, alert the service advisor immediately, e.g., when work takes more time than expected, when work is not necessary, or when more work is required.
Use road tests to ensure that the customer complaint is fully resolved.
Attend all training classes.
Keep the customers’ cars clean and tidy throughout service.
Follow and carry out all safety and housekeeping procedures.
