Which Honda Models Have 3rd-Row Seating?
At Patty Peck Honda, we know that Jackson, Brandon, and Madison area families are in the market for vehicles that can transport the whole family. Three rows of seating are available on two of our most popular Honda vehicles, the Odyssey and the Pilot. Depending on your specific driving needs, either option may be the right choice for you. Learn more about what these vehicles have to offer below.
Honda Odyssey (1995 – Present)
The Honda Odyssey minivan has withstood the test of time thanks to its durability, sleek design, and capacity to transport the whole family and more. Redefining what the minivan should be, this innovative model can seat up to eight passengers and has easy access to the third row thanks to Magic Slide® 2nd-row seats. Easily reconfigure the seating layout to accommodate your passengers, and stay connected thanks to CabinWatch® and CabinTalk®, which allows you to keep an eye on those in the back and communicate with them via rear speakers or connected headphones.
Honda Pilot (2003 – Present)
The Honda Pilot is the second Honda option offered with 3rd-row seating. Seat up to eight in all three rows and take advantage of adaptable seating configurations to find what works best for your family and cabin needs. You can also opt for 2nd-row captain’s chairs, which brings your seating total to seven and allows for those in the backseat to enjoy a more relaxing ride. Your passengers will be able to get in and out with ease, as available one-touch 2nd-row seats make a move with the simple push of a button. This versatile SUV is uniquely designed for any adventure on the road ahead, and you can opt for available leather seating to make the journey that much more comfortable.
Which Honda With a 3rd Row is Right For Me?
Both the Honda Odyssey and the Honda Pilot offer benefits, depending on your independent needs. The latest models offer unique interior amenities, as well as available heated and ventilated front seats, a one-touch power moonroof, and a leather-trimmed interior.
You will get more space in the Odyssey; as a minivan, it offers 163.6 cubic feet of passenger volume at the base level compared to 152.9 cubic feet in the Pilot. The Odyssey is preferable for those who place more importance on cargo capacity, as this minivan boasts 144.9 cubic feet when all back seats are flat. The Honda Pilot offers less cargo space, with a total of 83.9 cubic feet with all rows down.
Both the Odyssey and the Pilot can tow 3,500 pounds thanks to front-wheel drive, but the Pilot pumps this up to 5,000 pounds when equipped with all-wheel drive. The Pilot bests its minivan counterpart on gas mileage, averaging 23 combined MPG compared to 22 combined MPG of the Odyssey.
