Every day across America women, men and children suffer the pain and trauma of sexual assault. From verbal harassment and intimidation to molestation and rape, this crime occurs far too frequently and goes unreported far too often. The month of April has been designated Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM) in the United States. The goal is to raise public awareness about sexual violence and to educate communities and individuals on how to prevent sexual violence.

Are you just as surprised as we are that Daylight Savings Time is this weekend? That’s right, on Sunday March 11th, we loose an hour but gain an extra hour of daylight in the evening. Most of us will scramble to change our clocks in both our home and cars, unless you are fortunate enough to have smart clocks!
